We’re currently raising funds to finish building a school in rural Malawi, a space for learning, safety, and connection. This project is about more than education; it’s about creating pathways for young people to access opportunity, build better lives, and rise into their potential.
PROJECT ETHIOPIA
ANDENET is our annual initiative providing school bags, books, and essential supplies to students in Ketchene, a small town in Ethiopia. Each new year, we support children whose families are experiencing financial hardship helping them begin school with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to thrive.

in Rural Malawi
David Mzembe
David Mzembe was a visionary a man born in a small village in Malawi where education was rare, but hope was fierce. Raised by a resilient mother who believed in the power of learning, David rose from humble beginnings to become a global citizen, living proof that education can transform a life. Despite all his achievements, he never forgot his roots. His deepest dream was to build a school in his home village on the very land where his mother now rests to honour her sacrifices and ensure that future generations would have access to the opportunities he fought so hard for. Though he passed before that dream was fulfilled, his legacy lives on. The school project is not just bricks and mortar, it is David’s heart, vision, and love for his people made real. His story is a reminder that one life, fuelled by purpose, can plant seeds that outlive generations.
Cycle4More: A Ride for Legacy, Purpose, and the Next Generation.
Gideon Mzembe is carrying forward the vision of his late father, to complete the building of a much-needed secondary school in rural Malawi. To bring this vision to life, Gideon and a small team will be travelling from Cape York to Brisbane, with Gideon cycling from town to town in a powerful campaign called Cycle4More. This isn’t just a ride, it’s a movement. Along the way, the team will be activating communities, delivering You Are More talks, storytelling sessions, and creative workshops that awaken identity and purpose. Each stop is a chance to connect, empower, and invite people across Australia to be part of something bigger. This journey is about legacy. It’s about finishing what was started and building a future where the next generation in Malawi has access to education, opportunity, and hope.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise $25,000 to complete Stage One of a school in Chitimba, a rural village in northern Malawi where many children walk long distances for a chance at education, if a school even exists. This is about more than bricks and walls. It’s about restoring the right to learn, to dream, and to build a future.
